Winner of the South West Graduate Photography Prize, Jessica Ashley-Stokes started her commission with Fotonow and will be working in Barne Barton on The Island Stories project. We had an afternoon in the sunshine showing Jess around the neighbourhood (including checking out the community centre’s boiler uninstall) and she was really excited in discussing what photographic work she might develop over the coming months. We plan to work with Jess and see her develop en exhibition for Plymouth Art Weekender in September 2018.
