Karen has a family connection to the St Budeaux area. After a career in the civil service she pursued her interest in history at Plymouth University and is a Social History postgraduate with an interest in local history. Since graduating Karen has volunteered with Ford Park Cemetery Trust where she assists with research for heritage exhibitions and related guided walks. Karen is keen to contribute to The Island Stories and learn new skills along the way.
